Special Educational Needs (SEN) and Disability Information

We must publish a SEN information report on our school’s policy for pupils with SEN. Please find this attached below

The report complies with:

SEND stands for Special Educational Needs and Disabilities. Special Educational Needs and Disabilities are defined in the Code of Practice 2015 where it is stated that "A child or young person has SEN if they have a learning difficulty or disability which calls for special educational provision to be made for him or her"

The SENDCo (Special Educational Needs and Disabilities Co-ordinator) is responsible for the day to day operation of the SEND policy. Miss Martin is the SENDCo of St Mewan School.
